Tour CANCELLATION

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the Bioscope tour due to unforeseen and unsurmountable logistical problems.
We sincerely apologise to anyone who’s bought tickets (which will be fully refunded by the promoter). Unfortunately there isn’t availability in our respective touring commitments until late 2027 at the earliest so postponing them wasn’t an option.

Steve Rothery and Thorsten Quaeschning introduce their collaborative project ‘Bioscope’...

Bioscope is the highly anticipated collaborative project from guitar maestro Steve Rothery (Marillion) and electronic composer Thorsten Quaeschning (Tangerine Dream).

Their debut album Gentō, out on 22 August 2025 on earMUSIC, offers a deeply atmospheric journey where two distinct musical worlds converge. The album features an extraordinary performance by Elbow’s drummer Alex Reeves, whose rhythmic finesse and musical intuition bring depth and subtle momentum to the entire album.

Gentō will become available in retail stores as a CD+Blu-ray Digipak, including the full album in High-Res, Dolby Atmos as well as Dolby 5.1 Surround Mix, and Heavyweight Black 2LP Gatefold.

Alex Reeves joins The Bioscope Tour.

ALEX REEVES is a London-based session drummer and has performed drums live on stage, radio and TV, and recorded on albums with Elbow, Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Bat For Lashes, The Ting Tings, Shania Twain, Pete Tong, Marina, Nick Cave, The BBC Symphony Orchestra, The Heritage Orchestra, Guy Garvey, Anna Calvi, The Young Punx, Bobby Womack, One Direction, Johnny Hates Jazz, Avicii and hundreds more. Alex plays drums for Elbow.
